Dr. Ruth Weber
Originally from a large family in rural northern Iowa, Dr. Weber completed her undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude at Central University of Iowa and her optometric degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1989. In fourteen years in group ophthalmology/optometry practices prior to starting Weber Eye Care, she gained expertise in co-management of cataracts and laser procedures and diabetic care, as well as in the treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Weber enjoys serving the local community, providing thorough and comprehensive family and medical eye care in a small town atmosphere.
Dr. Weber has been active in community, church, and school support service committees, volunteering with the Kiwanis, as well as serving as a church usher. Professionally, she served as president of her local optometric society for five years and on the Wisconsin Optometric Association Board, where she also worked on the Education and Membership Committees.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening and scrapbooking, as well as ATV riding with her husband Don and their friends. When possible, the couple enjoys spending time with their two adult daughters, who also live in the Midwest.
